Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the TOEIC Ready iOS app and the readyday.app website collect, store, and use information. It applies to all users of the iOS app and visitors to the website.

We collect only the data necessary to deliver the product and measure whether it works.

• Account identifier. When you first launch the app, we generate a server-side user identifier (a UUID) and link it to your Apple sign-in if you use Sign in with Apple. We never receive your real name or email unless you provide them through a support request.
• Onboarding inputs. Target score, test date, and self-reported current score, used to compute your personalized study plan. Stored on our backend.
• Study session results. Per-item correctness, response time, and which TOEIC part the item belongs to. Used to fit your ability estimate and predict your test-day score.
• Subscription state. Whether you are a Pro subscriber, the renewal date, and the trial state. Provided by RevenueCat and verified by Apple's StoreKit. We never see your payment-method details.
• Analytics events. Aggregated product-usage events (onboarding completed, paywall viewed, session completed, etc.) sent to Amplitude.
• Crash and error reports. Stack traces and minimal device context, sent to Sentry when the app crashes or hits an unhandled error.
• Push device token. When you enable notifications, Apple Push Notification service issues a device token tied to this app on this device. We store it to send you scheduled reminders. The token is meaningless outside of APNs and is not shared with third parties.

• We do not collect your contacts, photos, or location.
• We do not access your microphone, camera, or calendar.
• We do not run third-party advertising SDKs and do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not record audio or transcripts of your study sessions.

• Personalization. Adaptive item selection, predicted ready-date, weak-part guidance — all derived from your session history.
• Refund eligibility. Determining whether your predicted score is below your target on your test date and whether you completed the recommended practice load.
• Product analytics. Improving conversion, activation, and retention. Aggregated across users; we do not analyze individual usage in identifiable form.
• Customer support. Troubleshooting issues you report.

Session results and ability estimates are retained while your account is active. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account in the iOS app), we permanently delete your session history, ability estimates, and analytics user record within thirty days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., subscription receipts retained for tax purposes).

You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@readyday.app. EU residents have the rights described in the GDPR (Articles 12 through 22). California residents have the rights described in the CCPA. Japanese residents have the rights described in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. Korean residents have the rights described in the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

We rely on the following third-party services. Each receives only the minimum data necessary for its function:

• Apple. Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, Apple Push Notification service.
• Supabase (Postgres + Storage). User and session data storage.
• Vercel. Backend hosting.
• RevenueCat. Subscription state management.
• Amplitude. Product analytics.
• Sentry. Crash and error reporting.

We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are surfaced in-app on next launch.
